A storm expected to move into San Diego County has slowed, but it's still coming.
The National Weather Service tells San Diego's Morning News showers are expected to arrive early Friday, with rain possible through Tuesday morning. Totals are expected to range from an inch and a quarter to two and a half inches along the coast in the North County.
Mountains could get two and a half inches of rain before the storm moves out of the area next week.
High temperatures will also droop about 20 degrees with coastal temps in the 60s and Inland areas in the 70s.
Despite cooler temperatures, the weather system is not cold enough to bring the first snow of the season to San Diego's mountains.
